Our Founder

Mr. Eugene Roy Joseph was called to the Bar of Malaysia (1997), United Kingdom (1996) & Brunei (1998). He has been practising in the area of Intellectual Property, Dispute Resolution and Commercial matters for more than 27 years. He is also a registered Patent, Trademark, Industrial Design, Geographical Indication Agent, Franchise Consultant and a Notary Public. 

He was appointed as a co-chairperson of the Malaysian Bar Council Intellectual Property (IP) Committee (2021/22) and member of Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), International Trademark Association (INTA), Malaysian Intellectual Property Association (MIPA) & Licensing Executives Society of Malaysia (LESM) as well as ASEAN Law Association.

He is the Vice President & Deputy Chairman of Legal Committee of Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (2022/25). 

He is able to converse in Malay, English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hakka. He is also a competitive golfer, badminton, tennis, chess and Chinese chess enthusiast.
